Economic and Asset Accounting
Legislative Decree 118 of 2011 profoundly reshaped the accounting system of Local Authorities, initiating a reform process in continuous evolution that involves the periodic introduction of new requirements. In such a changing context, the support of organizational structures or external professionals may be necessary.
Approach
We collaborate with the best experts in the field of public administration accounting, such as Dr. Marco Castellani. Together we have developed an operational methodology that we align with new regulatory adjustments. Thanks to their long-standing experience within the company, our team knows all activities and procedures, handles any unexpected events or specific situations, and carries out meticulous checks in line with Arconet and Audit Bodies’ reviews.
Process
Our service is based on a methodological process divided into phases. Each phase is structured in a specific operational practice, carried out on the basis of a checklist that ensures constant alignment of the execution team and monitoring of the progress status. We help the Authority prepare the documents for the processing of financial and asset accounting – Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Explanatory Notes, Annex H, XBRL file for submission to BDAP – ensuring deadlines, data accuracy and presenting the results achieved. At the end of the service, we can transfer the results to the accounting software used by the Authority.

From obligation to opportunity
The new accounting regulations establish the transition to a financial statement that highlights “what is achieved” with the available resources. Our goal is to provide the Authority with a tool to perform analysis, define strategies and better manage its resources. For this service, we use our BabylonWeb suite, a modular system to manage all requirements and fulfill the obligations of Public Administration. It allows the integration of information and the sharing of archives among the Authority’s different offices.
